Create Space is just that. A space. A space for homeschool, unschool, after-school , world school, wild school and all the schooled families to learn, make and be together.

Our Goal:

At Create Space, the goal is to provide a space conducive to a climate of learning and exploration. Create Space’s philosophy is that children learn best through free play and open exploring.

Our Winter Offerings : Little Makers, Open Studio, 3D class, Comics Class and Baby and We Class.

Little Makers: A drop in or off program for preschoolers ages 2-5. Come for a little movement, little art and a little snack. Offered by Wild Garden of Childhoods’ amazing Teacher, Yvette. Registrations required.

Six week sessions: February 5th -March 18th ( no program week of Feb. 19th)

Six week session: March 25- May 2

The program is Drop-In. Regisiter in advance.

Open Studio with Jace Rascal Smith: Come create, make build and tinker. This program is for all ages. Offered every Monad and Tuesday. This is a drop in program with registration required (last minute reservations accepted.) We are asking $10-$30 per child per session. You won’t be turned away for lack of payment.

Comics Class: Your child will learn the ins and outs of comic making. Design characters and learn layouts. This is a six week session, run on Thursday @ 2:30, by the talented artist Jace Rascal Smith. The program is designed for children 8 and up. Cost is $150 for six weeks.

Spring 3D with Jace Rascal Smith: This class is made for the creative kids ages * and up. Come build and make and create. This program is a six week session and is run on Thursday @4:30. Creators will have free rein of the makers space to create all sorts of art! Cost is $150 for six weeks.

Having a Party:

Rent the Space: Wifi & kitchenette with coffee (not for kids!)Lock code available. Email for contract.

$75/ Hour- “it’s all yours” use the entire place offered Sat and Sun 10-1 pm or 2-5pm. Book online.

$25/Hour “one it is” use a single classroom (maker space, movement room, tutor space.) Emails for availability.

What’s in the party: We provide a craft based on your Childs interests, a coloring happy birthday banner, use of kitchen, coffee and supplies and lots of free play space to play. Do art, build with magnets or snap circuits, play floor is lava and let us take out the trash!
